People magazine, citing representatives for the pair, reported on its Web site on Tuesday that "After Jennifer's trip to London several weeks ago, Jennifer and Vince mutually agreed to end their relationship but continue to be good friends."

Vaughn is currently filming Fred Claus in London while Aniston has been working in America. That is the main reason that sources could find for their break-up.

Former "Friends" actress Aniston, 37, took up with the 36-year-old star of "The Wedding Crashers" after splitting with husband Brad Pitt. They began dating in the summer of 2005 while filming hit movie The Break-Up together, which opened at No. 1 at the box office in June.

The union was the subject of much tabloid speculation, amid competing reports that they were either engaged or on the rocks. People's rival, U.S. Weekly, reported in August that they were planning a secret beach wedding, but it later quoted insiders as saying the relationship was done.
