Yang Up to 38th in World Rankings

South Korean Yang Yong-eun rose 39 places to 38th in the world rankings issued on Monday after his win at the Champions Tournament in China.

The 34-year-old fired a closing 69 to claim a two-stroke victory over world number one Tiger Woods in Shanghai on Sunday.

Veteran Tsuneyuki Nakajima soared 368 places to 213th after his triumph at the Taiheiyo Masters in Shizuoka.

The 52-year-old from Japan first won the tournament in 1985 when he occupied a place in the world's top 10.
